An antique Italian-made archtop guitar by Ermelinda Silvestri.

Ermelinda Silvestri was a mandolin maker who was born in the 19th Century and who we think worked in the Rome area. She specialised in inlaid work and often decorated her instruments with a butterfly motif. This guitar was made by one of her descendants and features the distinct butterfly inlays.

This guitar is nearly 100 years old, and still plays and sounds great. Is in good condition for a century year old instrument as well but does have some wear and tear.
