Fender Musicmaster Bass 1979

A rare vintage U.S.A-made bass guitar by Fender. The Musicmaster was manufactured by Fender between 1971 and 1981 and then discontinued. It is a shorter scale version of the Mustang bass.

The Musicmaster has been used by countless artists especially during the 1980s, such as Talking Heads, Sonic Youth, The Ramones, Status Quo, Men At Work and more recently Mac Demarco, Real Estate, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and many more.

Features a solid Alder body and Maple neck with Rosewood Fretboard. The pickup is a sealed six-pole single-coil.

This action on this bass is very low and it has a very thin neck for a bass, making it incredibly easy to play.

Most notable though is the excellent condition. The previous owner had the bass inside it's case in storage for many years and as such it remains in remarkably good condition for a 55 year old instrument.
Is in full working order. Includes non-original hard case.

Available in store. If you have any questions regarding this instrument please feel free to message us or give us a call for more details.
