Tanglewood use a Canadian Spruce top, braced in a tapered system with quarter sawn spruce, to give an instant aural appeal straight out of the box. They still maintain the classically understated natural look of the instrument in their styling, and it’s one of the few model ranges they have that looks both contemporary yet slightly vintage at the same time.
